Rebuilding & Scaling a Financial Learning Platform

Overview

Mosabi is a Fintech and EdTech platform that combines financial technology with education to empower users with financial literacy and digital skills. I played a key role in revamping a broken codebase, enabling the platform to secure multiple contracts, and planning its technical roadmap for future growth.

My Role

I have worked at Mosabi for 3 years in different capacities:

  • Part-time Developer (initial phase)
  • Full-time Developer (5 months)
  • Technical Contractor (current role)

As the acting CTO, I oversee the technical strategy and development, ensuring platform stability, growth, and continuous innovation. My responsibilities include:

  • Rebuilding and optimizing the codebase for scalability.
  • Developing technical roadmaps for future enhancements.
  • Managing cloud infrastructure and backend services.
  • Building and maintaining dashboards for Admins and Partners using React.js.
  • Working across multiple technologies, including:
    • Cloud Functions for backend operations.
    • Android Studio for mobile development.
    • React.js for web dashboards.
